How to go to Macau Via Hong Kong Airport International (HKIA) : Hongkong Macau Trip 2014

1. there are two ways to go to Macau from Hongkong :

A. Via Hong Kong Airport International (HKIA)

if u arrived at HKIA and want to go to Macau via airport, you can use ferry. There are some ferry that serve via HKIA, Some of them is Turbo Jet, this is the link for the sailing schedule. The interval of the sailing schedule for turbojet is 2 hours and start from 10 am to 9.30 pm.
NOTE : if u want to go to Macau via HKIA, dont go to imigration, but go to another terminal for transfer. once you pass the imigration, you can not go back to inside and get the ferry.

B. Via Town

We arrived boarded at changi 7.20 am but the flight was 8.20 am.
we arrived at Hongkong International Airport on schedule 12.20, but we finish report at imigration at 13,00 there is a long queque at that time.

at airport, before report to the imigration, we saw an board that tell that "transfer to terminal ... to passenger who will go to macau.."
well let's blame jet lag (sigh... only 4 hour flight but i still want to said it as a jet lag, haha)
nene, tere and i didnt sober enough to know what it means.
tere said that we have to ask the officer, since we want to go to macau,
then i said "maybe we must ask the officer at the outside, since every oficer at imigration seems doesnt have time to help us, anw my queque more  long than nene because our officer talking." -__-"
then... after we come out from imigration, we asked the information at airport.
they said : "BEFORE WE WENT OUT FROM IMIGRATION, WE MUST TRANSFER TO TERMINAL X, TO GO TO MACAU"
the problem is, once you pass the imigration, you can not go back to inside. -____-"
so we have to go to town to go to Macau.. -__________-"
we go to the bus terminal, outside the HKIA at 13.30. we late. hiks.

the officer at the HKIA gave us this instruction,
*i think because a lot of people who did a same mistake with us, lol, they make this papper to make it efficient, so they didnt have tell everyone the detail. because it will be tiring :D*

the bus terminal outside the HKIA

The bus will drop you at building near the ocean, but there is no board sign to go to the harbor. hahaha
so we choose to follow people who using map (we guess they are tourist too).
we follow them, but turn out they are tourist too but not going to ferry terminal. -__-"
so we ask pedestarian but they can not speak english so well, so they can not help us alot.
anw, after that we going to the building with eskalator, well turn out this is the ferry terminal.
the interval of the ferry to go to macau is 30 minute.

this is ticket from HKG to Macau
*if u go with a lot friends, gave all the ticket to the officer when u cek in, they will gave the close seat for you and yor friends.*

anw our ferry was delay to 2.45 pm. 15 minute late prior to the schedule.
they didnt tell us the reason. -__-". we arrived 3.45 at Macau Ferry Terminal.

inside the ferry
*there is warehouse to put ur luggage*

ticket Macau to Kowloon
*anw i dont know how to rotate it on blogspot huhuhu stupid me*

2. The Different Price & Time Between HKIA to Macau and Kowloon to Macau Via Ferry

Price
HKIA to Macau via Ferry 254 HKD
Kowloon to Macau via bus and Ferry total 204 HKD

Time
HKIA to Macau via Ferry 2 hours
Kowloon to Macau via bus and Ferry total 2 hours and 15 minutes

3. How to Change HKD (Hongkong currency) to MOP (Macau currency)

u can change the currency at ferry terminal.
but every restaurant and ferry terminal in Macau willing to accept HKD.
so u didnt have to change your money.
about the exchange raten 1 HKD = 1 MOP

4. Restaurant at Macau Ferry Terminal

there is restaurant both in Hongkong and Macau Ferry Terminal. Nene, Tere and I we ate at Macau Ferry Terminal. There is only some restaurant at the terminal. we choose dimsum and noodle restaurant. we choose it, because we dont like fast food (Mcd or kopi tiam) and because some restaurant didnt have an english menu, they only have a chinese menu T.T. so we didnt know what they serve hiks. and because their waiter can not speak english T.T.

our bill
*xiang pian is chinese tea*

anw because their waitress can not speak english very well, when i order dry noodle they gave me a normal noodle. haish.

5. Information Center

Before u walk to exit door at Macau Fery Terminal, you must go to the information center.
They will gave u a free map (this map will really really help you, because they use pinyin not character like Hongkong's map). and lady in the information center is really nice.

6. Language

anw.. nene and tere are an indonesian chinese. nene is active using hokian and know little bit mandarin and tere is active using hokian and her mother is a mandarin teacher, so she know more mandarin than nene and me is didnt know both hokian and mandarin, hahaha.

BUT... in hongkong and macau, they ability is useless.. hahahaha.
because most of the people use cantonese, and this is very different with what they are always use. haha. since people in macau and hongkong can not speaking english (especially the elder) that make us sometimes lost in direction, can not bargain, can not eat what we want to eat (because they didnt understand us) haha. sometimes when we order, the lady speak cantonese (think that tere or nene will understand her, since their face is soo chinese laaa.. but nene and tere will gave the blank face to the lady) hahaha and the lady will gave their book menu and leave us who nearly want to cry because the book menu is in mandarin character not in pinyin, so we didnt know what is this. bahahaha

but we are survive, LOL.
